AM Radio

Summer 1972. You are cruising the Jersey Shore in your white Chevy Nova SS complete with mag wheels and black racing stripes. The DJ from local station W-A-V-E plays an eclectic mix that starts with a movie theme from Stax Records. Next up is the latest hit from a semi-prog band out of England. Before the top-of-the-hour “chime time” and traffic update, you hear an up and coming number from Bill Chase and his band. Join us in a “far out” time when hair was longer, music was played by humans, and the airwaves were free. We hope you enjoy Long Branch High School’s tribute to AM Radio!
