2025 Pride of Metuchen Marching Band
In The Truth About Water, the Pride of Metuchen explores water as both natural force and musical metaphor. The program unfolds in five movements—majestic ocean vistas, flowing currents, the chaos of storm, and the renewal that follows—drawing from a diverse palette of musical voices.
The show is designed with contrast at its core: timbral shimmer against brass power, intricate rhythmic undercurrents against sweeping melodic lines, and visual motion that mirrors the fluidity, turbulence, and stillness of water itself. Ultimately, The Truth About Water challenges performers and audience alike to reflect on water’s essential truth: it shapes us, sustains us, and, like music, flows through every part of life.
