2022 Fall Season
- BachXing Champ
BachXing Champ features the music of JS Bach mixed with familiar themes from the Rocky movies and Simon & Garfunkel’s The Boxer. The show opens with the Reining Champ (gold robe) winning yet another match. We then meet our Contender (blue robe) who strives to overtake the Reining Champ by training and perfecting their skills. A moment of doubt makes the Contender reconsider if they can pull off the upset of the century before the final match up to determine who is the ultimate Boxing Champ.
Musical Selections
Musical selections include various repertoire by J.S. Bach including "Prelude in C," "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor," "Minuet in G," "Little Fugue in G Minor" and "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring;" "Gonna Fly Now" and "Going the Distance" by Bill Conti, "The Boxer" by Paul Simon, and "Eye of the Tiger" by James Peterik and Frankie Sullivan.
