- Something Wicked This Way Comes
The award-winning Lamar Band is one of the oldest in the city of Houston with a history that reaches back to the 1930s. The Performance Hall at the high school has been designated a Texas Historical landmark and the school itself has been showcased in feature films like "Rushmore." Tonight the band will perform music based on the novel "Something Wicked This Way Comes" by Ray Bradbury about an evil carnival that visits a small town in late October.
Musical Selections
Music selections include "The Evil Train," "Mirror Maze," and "Carnival Collapse."
