2023 Fall Season

New World Symphony

This land was once known as “The New World”. Many saw it as an opportunity for a clean slate. But change comes with risk. Uprooted lives. A dangerous sea journey. An unknown country. Dvořák composed this 9th symphony after his visit to America in the late 19th century. Inspired by our melting pot of cultures and wide open landscapes, The Pride of Port Chester captures the danger, emotion, and courage of those who brave a New World!
