2023 Fall Season

Nightmare

The show follows the storyline of a “Nightmare.” We have the main character (G1) and the evil twin from the nightmare (G2). The Evil Twin (G2) is dragging and tormenting the main character (G1) throughout the show. The show begins with a Pre Show of Brahms Lullaby where our main character is falling asleep. They are awoken in a panic by the evil twin as the drum break begins. The opener and closer are fast moving to portray the fear and panic the main character is feeling and experiencing throughout their nightmare. There should be mostly sharp, jagged drill moves in these parts. The ballad is a slow moving piece to highlight the sense of loneliness and defeat the main character is experiencing after failed attempts to escape the nightmare. This movement should drastically contrast the opener and closer through more fluid and curved drill formations. Certain individuals must be in specific places in order to ensure that this concept works. We are also looking to have more Guard in the front or be integrated more with the band. It was a major comment that we were given last year at our competitions. Our Guard has grown and is now a strength of our band.
