2021 Program

Onto The Next Chapter

The show is highlighting key moments/emotions of Senior Year of High School. There is a Pre-show of a classroom where a student is asleep on a desk dreaming of School being out (“School’s Out”). Then the “bell” rings, and they are in school in the Opener (“Running Just to Catch Myself”). For “Clarity,” our ballad, the character is contemplating between two colleges and the struggles of trying to make a clear decision on which school is best. Moving into our graduation “Pomp and Circumstance,” the character graduates to Drum Major while the Rifle line walks across the stage to signify a graduation. Color Guard graduates, then we are in our Closer (“Still Breathing”), our upbeat celebration of one chapter closes as we move on to the next chapter.
