2023 Fall Season

Night at the Tropical Jazz Cafe

Preshow- it’s Friday afternoon in the tropics, and everyone is waiting for that 5:00 whistle, getting ready to enjoy the weekend.

Scene 1- The Tropical Jazz Cafe is getting set up for another exciting evening, and two of the wait staff are in love. A few Jazz Band members who arrived at the club early decide to help them out, and play a slow jazz waltz so they can dance. (Intro of Metroplex)

Scene 2- We’ve made it! It’s 5pm, and everyone is making their way to the club for the evening. (Metroplex)

Scene 3- The doors open, the Jazz Orchestra gets set to perform, and the audience is entertained by the House Jazz Orchestra and Vocalist (Summertime).

Scene 4- The energy picks up as the club’s “dance floor” spills onto the entire field (Havana Nights)!
