The Phoenix is a mythological symbol of life, death, and rebirth. Stravinsky’s Firebird is woven in and out of this tale of our mythical hero, the Phoenix. From her birth to first flight and death to rebirth from the ashes we follow the magnificent story of the mythological Firebird.
