Tenafly Tiger Marching Band
2021 Program
- Rhythm of the Heart
This year’s production Rhythm of the Heart t
experience of a heart beat and transcends time and place. We begin with
the scandalous retelling of the Biblical story of Samson and Delilah by
Camille Saint Seans. Feel the passion in the air in a modern
arrangement of Bacchanal featuring the woodwind section. Next is the
beautiful French melody Plaisir d’amour written to engage the heart,
commonly known today as Can’t Help Falling in Love popularized by Elvis.
Last, we hear the fiery rhythms of Malaguena and quickly transition to
the timeless melody of When a Man Loves a Woman. Each production number
is punctuated by a changing heartbeat from the battery and the front
ensemble. This element is the unifying feature of the show as well as
in all of us. Please welcome the 2021 Tenafly Marching Tigers and join
us on our journey as we explore the Rhythm of the Heart!
