- Katana - Virtues of a Samurai
The West Perry School District is proud to present the 2023 edition of the “Mustang†Marching Band. This year’s field show, entitled "Katana – Virtues of a Samurai," tells the tale of a student training to be a Samurai warrior. Throughout their journey, the student learns about the virtues that are important in becoming a Samurai. In Part 1, "Honor," Taiko drums set the stage for this powerful opener. Part 2, "Compassion," is a beautiful ballad that features alto saxophone soloist Isabella Lanza. "Part 3," Justice, is a face paced and powerful conclusion to our show.
