Mr. Pearson began marching band his sophomore year of high school in 2005 after his friends dragged him to an introductory rehearsal.
He holds a bachelor of music degree from Towson University (TU) in French horn performance. While at TU, he was a member of the [World Famous] Towson University Marching Band as a member of the battery in the Quad and Snare drum sections (2008 - 2010). After graduation, he attended St. Mary's College of MD where he obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching in 2014.
From 2014 - February 2023, Mr. Pearson was director of bands of both Leonardtown and Great Mills High Schools, leading Great Mills to 5 MD Open Class State Championships and four Indoor percussion podiums. He has been a percussion arranger and show designer since 2008 and continues to write shows in his spare time.
Mr. Pearson now works for the Department of Defense as a Logisitician for NAWCAD. He lives in Southern MD with is incredible wife and two kids. When not completely engrossed in music he's probably gaming or flying.
