Jon Mattheis has spent the past 24 years teaching the arts in South Dakota, Colorado, Nebraska, and Minnesota. He is currently the Head Orchestra Director and teaching art at Memorial Middle School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Under his leadership, performing groups have consistently been awarded superior ratings at contests and have been invited twice to perform at state music educators' conventions. Jon graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Music Education Degree. He maintains an active clinician and adjudication schedule as part of the Tri-State Judges Association, USbands, IHSMA, SDHSAA, and CHSAA. Jon enjoys traveling with his wife Devyn and son Kaeden and supporting them in their activities.
