I taught band for 7 years, 5 being in the DFW area and 2 in East Texas. After that I started BrynnPark Productions, a marching band drill design company that has grown from 3 bands to start to 27 bands this year. In addition, I own/moderate The Yellow Board, which is the premier internet message forum for band directors in Texas and beyond. I also founded the Texas Band Directors group, which is the largest Facebook group for band directors in Texas and beyond. My two oldest kids (Brynn and Parker) were both in band in Cy-Fair ISD, so I've been a chaperone and roadie for their bands.
