Chris has enjoyed more than 30 years in the pageantry arts as a
performer, designer, instructor, director and adjudicator in the NYS winterguard and fieldband circuits and DCA (now DCI All Age). Chris’ strength in color, concepts and visual coordination has guided many groups to achieve success in the activity. Chris has numerous NY State and Circuit championships; as well as national finalists groups at
BOA, DCA, WGI and US Bands.
Chris is an adjudicator for the NYS Federation of Contest Judges, MidYork Color Circuit, CWEA, MCCGA, MEPA and now USBands. He uses his experience and knowledge to help guide teams in a positive and educational manner. More importantly, he loves this crazy activity!
Chris has a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University. Chris lives in Rochester, NY. He is employed with the NY State Department of Transportation as the Region 4 Environmental Unit Supervisor and as a Cultural Resource Specialist.
