Based in Rochester, NY, Brandon McArdell has over a decade of experience in music education as both a public school educator and private instructor. He holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Music Education from Nazareth University’s School of Music. Throughout his career, Brandon has enjoyed fostering the excitement of young musicians—helping them discover their full potential while teaching elementary and middle school band, with an emphasis on brass and percussion pedagogy. He currently serves as an instrumental music educator in the Fairport Central School District, where he directs both elementary and middle school band programs and provides brass instruction to beginning and intermediate students.

In addition to his teaching role, Brandon is an active performer and freelance trumpet player, frequently playing with the Eastman Music Educators Wind Ensemble and other local ensembles. He is also a dedicated member of the Monroe County Schools Music Association, which supports public school music programs in Monroe County through high-quality educational experiences for students.
