Joshua Potter is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a Bachelors of Music Education and East Carolina University where he earned a Masters in Wind Band Conducting. He has been involved in the pageantry arts for over 30 years as a performer, director, instructor, adjudicator, and designer. He is active as a visual designer and program coordinator for marching bands throughout North Carolina and along the east coast. Mr. Potter has had the fortune to adjudicate fall and winter pageantry events across the country, including state championship events in multiple states. He is honored to serve as an adjudicator for Bands of America and Winter Guard International. He served as a band director in the state of North Carolina for over 26 years, where he also served on the state marching band committee for multiple terms, including as its chair.
