Brad Hughes is a former band director and current Financial Planner at Horizon Wealth Advisors in Houston, TX. Prior to working in financial services, Brad was the Director of Bands at Clear Brook High School in Friendswood, TX from 2014-2022. Before working at Clear Brook High School, Brad was an Assistant Band Director at Cy-Fair High School in Cypress, TX. Brad served on the brass staff for the Arizona Academy from 2010-2011, the brass and visual staff for the Phantom Regiment from 2012-2014, and the brass staff for the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps from 2015-2017. Brad still enjoys being active in the music community by helping clinic, consult, and judge for various music programs in the Houston area.
Brad is happily married to Angi Hughes, has three children, and lives in the South Houston area. Brad also currently serves as a Board Member for the Friendswood Chamber of Commerce, the Bay Area Habitat for Humanity, and his children’s PTA.
