Lori (Corwin) McBride has been involved in the marching arts activity for almost 5 decades.

As a performer, Lori marched in drum corps as a member of the 27th Lancers for several years and also participated in the 1994 27th Lancers Alumni Corps as both a performer and a staff member.

As a winter guard performer, Lori was a member of Erte Productions (WGI 1985 IW Class Gold Medalist) as well as a performing member of Quasar (WGI 1983 IW Class Bronze Medalist) among others.

As an instructor/teacher, Lori has taught many successful groups through the years including numerous drum corps, high school marching bands and winter guards. Some of those notable groups include: St. John’s Productions (WGI 1997 IA Class Gold Medalist), St. John’s Beverly (WGI 2002 & 2003 IO Class Finalist) (WGI 2004 IO Class Bronze Medalist), Salem Blue (WGI 2007 IO Class Finalist) (WGI 2009 IA Class Silver Medalist) (WGI 2011 & 2012 IA Class Finalist) and Citations Drum & Bugle Corps (DCI & WGI A Class Finalist).

For the past 2 decades, Lori has been the Guard Director at Billerica Memorial HS (MA) winning numerous circuit championships and Best Guard awards in the local NESBA Circuit for both the fall marching band and winter guard seasons. In addition, Lori has brought the Billerica Guard to a national level where they have won WGI Regionals and are extremely proud to be a 3-time WGI Scholastic A Class Finalist (2018, 2019, 2023).

In addition to her many years of teaching and work as a unit director, Lori has most recently delved into the judging arena for several circuits including NESBA, MBDA, MICCA & now USBands.

Outside of the activity, Lori is a graduate of Brandeis University and Suffolk University Law School and is a practicing attorney for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She resides in Massachusetts with her husband Dan and daughter Marni.
