Tony Good

Tony Good began his journey in the marching arts with the Bayonne High School Marching Band, later performing with the Raiders Drum and Bugle Corps from 2004 to 2006 and again in 2008. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and Percussion Performance from Lebanon Valley College in 2010, followed by a Master’s in Educational Leadership from William Paterson University in 2023.

As a professional percussionist, Tony performed with Gallant Entertainment Inc. (GEI) in New York City, appearing with the New York Knicks, Giants, Jets, and the New England Patriots, as well as contributing to high-profile projects with Hans Zimmer, Spitfire Audio, and Disney. In 2016, he became the Director of the New York Giants Drumline. When GEI later became BD Entertainment NYC, Tony continued his work with the group through 2023.

Tony began teaching in 2008 as a percussion instructor with bands in Central Pennsylvania and became a percussion director in 2009 with the Blue Mountain High School Marching Band and Indoor Percussion Ensemble, where he also began arranging and designing. In 2011, he transitioned to public school teaching in Bayonne, New Jersey, and later in Old Bridge, where he served in multiple roles including director, assistant director, designer, and music arranger for both curricular and extracurricular ensembles.

During his time in Bayonne and Old Bridge, Tony worked extensively with the Bayonne High School Marching Band (2011–2016) and Indoor Percussion Ensemble (2013–2017), as well as the Old Bridge High School Marching Knights (2017–2022) and Indoor Percussion Ensemble (2018–2023).

He currently serves as a school administrator in the Cranford Public Schools.
