Some of my most cherished memories come from my experiences in marching band. I was on the Southington (CT) High School Drumline during the 1990-1992 seasons, serving as Drum Captain my Senior year. I attended the University of Connecticut, and played snare on the UCMB drumline in the Fall of '93, and drumset/percussion with the Women's Basketball Pep Band during the 1994 season.
I was blessed with the opportunity to return to the "Fall Marching Band Competition Scene" when my son joined the Southington Drumline in September of 2020. I have volunteered with the Band Backers throughout my son's four years on the Drumline, serving as the Media and Publicity Coordinator, and also as "The Voice of Music of the Knight", announcing and sharing Emcee duties for our home USBands competition.
I continue to play drums regularly in ensembles and bands here in CT. I also teach private drum lessons in my spare time. I am excited to continue my musical journey with USBands!
