Mike Dow is a long time participant in the marching activity. He began his marching career with the Crossmen at age 16. He went on to march four years with the Crossmen, and aged out with Madison Scouts in 2006. Mike then began his drum corps teaching career on the percussion staff at the Troopers, later going on to working at Carolina Crown, Madison Scouts, Crossmen, and The Cadets.
Mike has also spent many years in the indoor percussion activity working with the WGI
Independent World group United Percussion based in NJ. He currently works with Dark Sky Percussion in Southern California. He has also done work as a teacher and designer for several high school programs, mostly in NJ and PA. Mike has spent time as an adjudicator as well, both in the percussion and visual captions.
Currently, Mike resides in Los Angeles, CA where he moved in 2017. He works as an IT Analyst at UCLA.
