Mr. Scholten is a music educator and former band director from the Central Texas area, currently serving as a fine arts coordinator. Mr. Scholten is fortunate to have had many successes during his time as a director, having worked with ensembles who have competed in the finals of the Bands of America San Antonio Super Regional, Texas Marching Classic, and other notable events. In 2022, Mr. Scholten's ensemble was a winner of the Citation of Excellence award for concert bands. Mr. Scholten serves as an active designer for multiple marching programs in Texas.
