
Adam is a native of Middlefield, Connecticut, and he graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a bachelor’s degree in music in 2016. While at CCSU, Adam performed with the wind ensemble, marching band, pep band, brass quintet, trombone ensemble, and jazz ensemble. A four-year member of the CCSU Blue Devil Marching Band, Adam served as one of the band’s drum majors in 2015. He completed a master’s degree in music education at the University of Bridgeport in 2020.
Adam played baritone as a member of the 7th Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps from 2013 through 2015, including the 2014 season when the corps made its first ever appearance in DCI World Class Semifinals.
Adam worked with the Trumbull High School Marching Band from 2015 through 2018 as both a music and visual instructor. In 2016 the ensemble was the Bands of America Mid-Atlantic Regional Champion and the USBands Class 6 Open National Champion, and the band was also selected to perform at the 2017 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Adam joined the visual staff of the Cheshire High School Marching Band in 2018 and he was the visual director from 2019 through 2022. He has been the visual director and designer at New Milford High School since 2023.
In 2023 he became an adjudicator for both USBands and the New England Scholastic Bands Association (NESBA).
Adam was on the visual staff at the Jersey Surf Drum & Bugle Corps from 2020 to 2024. He was a visual director for the Raiders Drum and Bugle Corps in 2016 and 2017 and he was on the visual staff of 7th Regiment in 2018 and 2019.
Adam is an avid line dancer and competes in line dancing events across the US.
