Kyle Day was born and raised in Central Texas, and is currently the Associate Director of Bands at New Braunfels High School in New Braunfels, Texas. Ensembles under his direction have received best in class awards, and distinctions at the local, state, and national level. At New Braunfels HS, his responsibilities include facilitating the marching band program and chamber music program, as well as, teaching the non-varsity ensembles. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Studies from Texas State University and a Masters in Music Education from the University of North Texas. Kyle's professional affiliations include Texas Bandmasters Association, Texas Music Educators Association, International Trumpet Guild, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. He and his wife Kate reside in New Braunfels with their two dogs, Stella and Mally.
