As a percussion judge, Doug Krejci is a highly requested adjudicator who has judged dozens of marching percussion, indoor percussion, and percussion solo/ensemble contests. Past percussion judging adjudications include West Des Moines (IA) Valleyfest, Sioux Falls (SD) Festival of Bands, Dutchman Field Championship (Orange City, IA), Algona (IA) Band Day, Marion (IA) Marching Band Invitational, Sioux City (Iowa) Starfest, Nebraska State Marching Band Championship, Luverne (MN) Band Day, Waukesha North (WI) Bandfest, Iowa Indoor Marching Arts, WSMA (Wisconsin) State Solo and Ensemble Contest, and the Franklin Saber Invite (WI), among many other competitions across Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Indiana, and Illinois. Mr. Krejci has the honor of adjudicating the first Missouri State Marching Band Championship this fall and has been sought out to become a certified adjudicator for several national judging consortiums. Mr. Krejci has been one of the longest continuous adjudicators for the Iowa High School Music Association in the field of percussion. Mr. Krejci also is an Iowa High School Speech Association judge, an Iowa High School Music Theatre Association judge, and a media production professional with over 150 local, regional, and national awards for production and creative excellence to his name.

As an educator and clinician, Doug Krejci has taught both orchestral and marching percussion to a wide variety of junior high, high school, and college percussionists in multiple states. His drumlines have participated in the Orange Bowl Parade, Fiesta Bowl Parade, the Rose Bowl Parade, and have won numerous marching percussion contests and awards. He currently instructs and arranges percussion for multiple high school drumlines and percussion sections of various sizes independently and through the Iowa Alliance for Arts Education. Mr. Krejci is an in-demand clinician for both marching and orchestral percussion. Mr. Krejci was recently recognized by the Wisconsin School Music Association as a Level 1 - Master Adjudicator, that organizations' highest-rated adjudicator level.

Doug Krejci has been a percussion musician, educator, and judge for over 35 years. Mr. Krejci has performed with Orchestra Iowa, Ed Shaughnessy, Eastern Iowa Brass Band, Buena Vista University, Cornell College, Kirkwood College, Cedar Rapids Municipal Band, Clear Lake Municipal Band, the Storm Lake Municipal Band, the Iowa City Community Band, the Eastern Iowa Brass Band, Orchestra Iowa, and the Karl King Band among many other groups as a performing, ensemble, and solo percussionist.

Mr. Krejci lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with his wife and 16-year-old daughter, who is also a percussionist.
