Sam has enjoyed more than 25 years of experience in the pageantry arts
as a performer, instructor, and adjudicator. In addition to marching with the Rochester
Patriots, he has extensive teaching experience which began in 1995 with Central Square
High School. More recently, Sam served for 14 years as color guard coordinator and
instructor for the West Genesee HIgh School Marching Band.
A member of the New York Federation of Contest Judges, he has been judging locally and nationally since 2002 for WGI, US Bands, and many local competition circuits in both fall and winter seasons. Professionally, Sam chairs the Science Department at West Genesee High School, where he has been teaching since 1995. He lives in Syracuse, NY.
