Matthew Wolf is a New Jersey native and graduate of South Brunswick High School, where he began his career in the marching arts as a member of the South Brunswick HS Viking Marching Band. A tuba player and a vocalist, Matthew continued his musical education at West Chester University, where he marched with the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band, leading the ensemble for two years as Drum Major. Matthew graduated from West Chester University with a dual B.M. in Music Education and Vocal Performance and was heavily involved in both the choral and wind band programs during his time there. Matthew returned to the South Brunswick Viking Marching Band as a staff member from 2009 to 2020, where his instruction helped bring the group to several NJ State championships and National appearances. He is currently the Director of Choral Activities at Ramsey High School, where he oversees the choral program and teaches AP Music Theory and Digital Production classes. His ensembles have been featured at several conferences at the local and regional level, including appearances at NJMEA and ACDA conferences. He holds an M.S. Ed in Educational Leadership from The University of Pennsylvania and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Music & Music Education at Columbia University.
