James Owings knew from the early age of 8 he was destined for the pageantry arts. While attending college, James was able to begin his training with Winter Guard. After College, James began serving as a visual, visual effect and color guard judge for marching band and winter guard. In 2019, He joined USBands as a visual judge. James is an active designer and clinician across the East Coast, while teaching middle school band and maintaining a private studio.
