Monica Bartoli

Monica Bartoli has dedicated nearly three decades to the marching arts as a performer, instructor, director, and adjudicator. Originally from Long Island, New York, she has developed and led successful scholastic programs throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, including Mineola HS, Sachem Central ISD, Copiague HS, and Huntington HS. She has also worked with independent ensembles: Saturday Matinee, Sunrisers Drum & Bugle Corps, and Fusion Winter Guard (Parsippany, New Jersey).

Her performance journey began with Phantom Regiment Color Guard from Lake Ronkonkoma. NY. She later performed with the acclaimed Blessed Sacrament from Cambridge, MA. Since 2017, she has served as an adjudicator for USBands, and recently with the Musical Arts Conference - with a focus on the Color Guard and Equipment captions.

She has been an educator at the post secondary level since 2008 and is a professor of Chemistry and Crime Scene/Criminalistics. Before transitioning to academia, she worked as a criminalist with the NYPD. She is currently completing her PhD in Science Education.
