James "J.P." Crowley is the Director of Fine Arts for Lockhart Independent School District in Lockhart, Texas. He served as Director of Bands at Lockhart High School from 2019 to 2024. J.P. is a member of the Brass Staff for The Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps, a position he has held since 2016.
Previously, Crowley was the Associate Band Director at Cypress Lakes High School in Houston, Texas and the Director of Bands at Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School in Bridgewater, New Jersey. From 2011 to 2016, he was on the Brass Staff with The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from The College of New Jersey and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Texas State University. James is a working band clinician and guest instructor in the Central Texas area. He is a resident of Austin, Texas where he lives with his wife Danielle and three wonderful cats.
