I began my musical career at John Jay High School in San Antonio, TX. I began teaching colorguard while still in high school when our instructor was deployed and continued to teach at various high schools in Austin throughout my time at UT. I studied music education at the University of Texas at Austin and received my Masters from Texas State University in San Marcos. I have been part of the visual team at Jourdanton High School for over 20 years. I am an adjudicator and have served on the board of directors for the Texas Educational Colorguard Association where I judge General Effect and Design Analysis. I currently hold level 300 certification through WGI in GE.
