Joe began his marching career back in 1997 with the Brien McMahon High School Marching band in Norwalk, CT. He marched in the band for 4 years playing the Baritone and tuba. While marching there, the band won 2 division championships and played numerous events for the New York Yankees including numerous Yankees playoff and World Series pregame performances and leading off the tinker tape parades for 3 consecutive years.

Joe's Drum corps career began in 2000 with the Connecticut Hurricanes where he marched Contra, Baritone, and ended with Euphonium in 2010.

Along with teaching Raiders for his 4th consecutive season, Joe is entering into his first year teaching the Long Island Sunrisers. He has also taught at several schools including Brien McMahon HS in Norwalk, CT, Bunnell High School in Stratford, CT, Stamford High School in Stamford, CT, Montville High School in Montville, NJ, Northern Valley Demerest High School, and Rahway High School in Rahway, NJ. More recently, he has brought his talents and is currently qith Jersey Surf, Elizabeth High school, and Weehawken High School.
