Vazquez began their marching band and winter guard career at Shikellamy High School in Sunbury, PA. After graduaton, they performed with Albright College Domino Players, Kutztown University Readers' Theater, and marched with Reading Buccaneers, Skyliners, and Frontier drum and bugle corps, Classics "The Guard," and ATX Senior Winterguard.
Vazquez is the founder and former director of ATX Winterguard from Austin, TX. They has worked with Lehigh Valley Knights, Frontier, Austin Stars drum and bugle corps, Genesis drum corps, and has instructed award winning high school marching bands and scholastic and independent winter guard programs in Pennsylvania, Florida, Texas, and Maryland.
Vazquez has a MA in electronic education and an MA in special education, and is a national board certification teaching candidate. They is currently an elementary school special education teacher in Maryland.
Vazquez began judging winter guard in 2006 and is currently a WGI Level 340 certified design analysis and equipment judge and local Percussion/Winds visual judge. In 2007, Vazquez began judging marching band for USBands.
