Mr. Julian Williams has been a designer, instructor, consultant and educational/mentor for many Color Guards, Drum Corps, Marching Bands and Drill Teams programs for more 40 plus years in the Pageantry of Arts. He is an active Adjudicator for Cavalcade of Bands, Keystone Indoor Drill Association, Mid-Atlantic Indoor Network, USBANDS, Musical Arts Conference, Drum Corp Associates and Tournament of Bands. For 17 years, Julian was the assistant field-coordinator and visual designer for the Morgan State University Marching Band and Colorguard. He was instrumental in the growth and development of the highly acclaimed Light Brigade Winterguard from Philadelphia, PA for over 25 years. His tenure within the Pageantry of the Arts is extensive and cherished. Julian has instructed, designed many Winterguard and Marching Band programs throughout the United States over his 45 years in the competitive-arts activity. For his continued service to the Morgan State Band program, Julian was inducted as a brother of Kappa Kappa Psi National Band Fraternity for his service to the Music Arts and is the recipient of the SILVER BATON AWARD for his outstanding achievements for his continuous service to the Marching Bands arts. Julian has inspired many current instructor’s who he have had the pleasure of working with and have enjoyed their ongoing success! This will be Julian Williams 26th year as an Adjudicator for the Marching Arts.
