Mike Ashmead is an active choreographer, designer, and adjudicator in the pageantry arts. Mike has worked with numerous A Class and Open Class Band Programs along the east coast including Broadneck HS-Annapolis MD, Caesar Rodney HS-Camden DE, & Parkside HS Marching Band MD, to name a few.
Mike’s drum corps experience includes being a performing member of the Cadets of Bergen County from 1991 to 1992. He was a percussion/visual technician for the various Drum and Bugle Corps around the country. Mike is currently an active Certified Judge for the Maryland Marching Band Association (MMBA) and USBands as a Individual Analysis Visual and Ensemble Visual Adjudicator.
When he is not teaching marching band or color guard, Mike Ashmead currently teaches Honors and Advanced Placement Chemistry at Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville Maryland.
