The 2024 season marks Joe Ciancimino's 10th year as an adjudicator with USBands.

Joe began his drum corps career with the Reading Buccaneers in 2010. He played tenors for the group for the 2010 and 2011 prior to becoming a member of The Cadets. In 2011, Joe was also a member of United Percussion, placing seventh in WGI World Class Championships. As a member of The Cadets, Joe stayed with The Cadets through his age-out summer in 2013 and was a part of the percussion section that claimed the Fred Sanford High Percussion Award.

Joe previously was Battery Caption Head at Upper Darby High School in Drexel Hill, PA, where he taught from 2012-2015. In the drum corps space, Joe worked as a member of the percussion of the Cadets2 percussion staff, taking over as percussion caption manager from 2016-2018. Joe worked as a member of the Cadets percussion staff as well from 2017-2021. Joe was also a member of United Percussion's battery staff from 2018-2020.

Joe currently resides in Lansdale, PA. He is a graduate of the accounting program at Temple University and currently works in his career in auditing outside of the marching arts activity.
