Joel Dube

Joel J. Dube is a graduate of the Art Institute of Boston concentration Graphic Design and has a longstanding career in financial services as a Registered Client Associate | Assistant Vice President of Wells Fargo Advisors in Portsmouth NH.

His drum corps experience began in 1980, with the Beverly Crusaders. In 1981 he marched with North Star Drum & Bugle Corps. Joel joined Arbella in 1982, and 1983 and went on to march with Les Eclipse of Montreal Quebec 1984 and 1985 seasons. In 1986 was honored to work with a talented staff in Houston, TX and over 250 performers for the opening of the Olympic Festival. 1987 culminated his performing years in drum corps and he aged out with the Sky Ryders of Hutchinson, KS placing in the top 12 of DCI.

Winter Guard Experience: Joel performed with Nouveau of Houston TX 1983, perennial WGI Finalist Emerald Marquis from 1984-89, and a final year performing with Emerald Marquis 2001 after the WGI age out rule change.

Joel has since been a color guard designer and instructor for over 30 years. His experience as either a performer or designer/instructor is extensive. He has worked with many color guards throughout New England, CT, LA, ME, MA, NH, NY, OK, TX as well as many area high schools (Emerald Marquis, Patriots, Salem HS (MA), Salem Blue, Sacred Heart, St. Brendan and many more).
Joel served on the board for the Massachusetts Judging Association (MJA) 2017-2023 as President and is a visual equipment, and movement judge since 2013.

I have been an adjudicator for over 10 years for the following associations: DCA, USBANDS, NESBA, MAC, MICCA, CWEA, WGPO, NTCA, TCGC, LAMA, OIPA, NMBC and MAIN.
