Brian Leonard started his marching career in 1986 playing trumpet in the Upper Moreland Middle School Marching Band and never looked back.
Brian has a degree in Music Education, trumpet concentration from West Chester University. He is a past member of the marching bands of Upper Moreland High School and West Chester University, as well as an alumnus of the Crossmen and Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps.
Brian has instructed, designed for, and directed many marching band, indoor percussion, and indoor guard programs in the Southeast PA and Southern New Jersey region, and is a former instructor of Spirit of Atlanta, the Reading Buccaneers, and Aftermath Percussion.
Brian has been a band director in the Methacton School District since 1999 and served as marching band director at Methacton High School from 2000-2009 where the program was a perennial top-five finisher in group 2-open in USBands (then USSBA), including winning championships in 2004 and 2007.
Brian lives in Audubon, PA with his wife and two children.
