
Brian Kenny has been an active and dedicated member of the marching arts community for more than 20 years, with a strong commitment to fostering growth and excellence through his work with USBands. He currently serves on the USBands Adjudication Leadership Team, playing a key role in shaping educational and adjudication standards for the circuit. In addition to his work with USBands, Brian is a judge for WGI and DCI and continues to adjudicate in multiple circuits nationwide, covering Equipment, Movement, Colorguard, General Effect and various Visual focused captions.
Beyond USBands, Brian has held leadership roles in education and caption facilitation, contributing to the development of pageantry organizations across the country. His extensive performance background includes appearances with the Hawthorne Caballeros, Reading Buccaneers, and Bushwackers Drum and Bugle Corps, as well as Pegasus, Innuendo, Alter Ego, and Black Watch Winterguards.
As an educator, Brian has worked with numerous high school programs throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, along with independent ensembles such as Alter Ego, Black Watch, and the Reading Buccaneers. His continued work with USBands throughout the fall season further reflects his commitment to education and adjudication within scholastic marching band circuits.
Committed to staying current in the arts, Brian remains actively engaged through multiple judging circuits, ongoing educational initiatives, and continued off-season engagement in the Arts.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Arts Administration and Education from Wagner College and a Master of Education in Organizational Management and Adult Learning from Montclair State University.
Outside of the marching arts, Brian has built a 15+ year career in Higher Education, specializing in Enrollment Management and Student Affairs.
