Bryan Crawford

Bryan has been deeply involved in the marching arts since 1999. A graduate of Parsippany Hills High School in 2004, he was the second chair and later first chair for snare drum in the NJMEA North Jersey Regional Band during his high school years. He has worked with numerous programs across Northern New Jersey and Southern Connecticut, including Parsippany Hills, West Essex, Pequannock, Stamford, West Hill, and Trumbull. His contributions to these programs have resulted in multiple State and All-State Percussion titles, as well as WGI Silver Medals with Trumbull High School in 2008 and 2009, where he served as an instructor.

Bryan’s marching experience includes performing with the renowned Hawthorne Caballeros, where he was a member of the Latin section in 2003, winning the DCA World Championship title that year. He also performed as a Bass Drummer from 2005 to 2007.

In addition to his performance experience, Bryan was a battery instructor for the DCI All-Age Drum Corps, Fusion Core, during the 2014-2015 seasons.

He began adjudicating in 2007 and has since become an integral part of the marching arts community. Bryan has worked with organizations such as USBands, MAC, Calvacade of Bands, NYSC, and KIDA, contributing to both indoor and outdoor seasons. After concluding his work with scholastic programs in 2012, Bryan shifted his focus primarily to adjudicating and has played a role in the growth and development of USBands Indoor in recent years.

Outside of his adjudicating work, Bryan occasionally takes on the role of announcer at regional events, including those at MetLife Stadium, J. Birney Crum Stadium, and MAIN Indoor Guard events.

In addition to his passion for the marching arts, Bryan has been involved in the fire service since 2002, initially as a volunteer, before becoming a career firefighter in 2016.
