Jamie Bennett

Jamie Bennett has had a long and distinguished career in the marching arts. He was a baritone bugler, drum major, and staff member of the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps, and served 20 years in the military as a musician. Of those 20 years, he spent 12 with the United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps and the 1st Marine Division Band. He also performed with the 257th Army National Guard Band and deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 547th Transportation Company as a weapons and operations specialist.

Jamie has written music and drill for numerous high school programs across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Texas, and Georgia. Since 2006, he has served as an adjudicator for US Bands. He continues to contribute to the marching community as a clinician and instructor for marching bands, concert ensembles, and jazz bands throughout the United States.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Penn State University, a Bachelor of Arts in History from Dalton State College, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix.

Jamie currently manages multiple businesses in Georgia while remaining musically active throughout the region.
