Virginia Kraft

Virginia Kraft holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts in Theology from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA.

Active in marching pageantry, Ms. Kraft is an accomplished drill designer for several successful competitive marching bands and indoor colorguards throughout the country. She served as the designer/colorguard director of the South Brunswick Marching Band and the director of Horizon and the South Brunswick Visual Ensemble, a perennial finalist for over thirty years and two-time bronze medalist in Winterguard International. One of the founding board members of MAIN, in 2018 she was named to the Mid- Atlantic Indoor Network Hall of Fame.

Ms. Kraft has been a member of the faculty of The College of New Jersey and West Chester University. She served for many years as the Director of Vocal Arts and Theatre at South Brunswick High School. Her choirs have performed at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fischer Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Rutgers University, The College of New Jersey, the New Jersey State House, and Disney World. As a choral conductor, she has toured the United States, Canada and Europe conducting vocal ensembles for several organizations. Throughout her theatre career she has directed over 75 plays and musicals. In addition, she performs as a vocal soloist throughout the area.

Ms. Kraft is currently the Director of Programming for USBands. In addition, she is active in presenting professional development workshops for music educators.
