
Dan Campbell has been involved in the pageantry activity as a performer, instructor, drill designer and judge for over 50 years. Dan was the drill designer and visual coordinator for the West Genesee marching band for many years when they were perennial New York State Field Band Conference Champions as well as BOA regional and national finalist and class champions. Dan has also been the drill designer for the Rochester Patriots Drum and Bugle Corps (DCI semifinalist ) and the Rochester Crusaders ( DCA Finalist) He has also been drill designer for many competitive marching band programs in New York State and around the country.
As an adjudicator Dan is a member of the New York Federation of Contest Judges where he has served as color guard caption head. He has been a WGI judge for over 30 years and has served multiple times on the color guard task force as the EA (DA) caption representative. Dan has judged for DCI, DCA, Us Bands, ISSMA and many other state marching band associations around the country.
Dan is a member of the Midyork Color guard circuit hall of fame. He lives in Camillus, NY with his wife Jackie who is also involved in pageantry as a marching band and WGI color guard judge.
